The Day the Music Died – Part 5

Music Died violin workbench

‘My music died!’ Loud I cried.
‘Joy had fled! It is dead!’
Broken heart, smashed apart.
Life is shattered. All that mattered
Unresolves and then dissolves.
Broken. Bleeding. Nothing heeding.
What has been? What does it mean?
The broken trust. Life is unjust.
Shattered foundation. All forsaken.
The end is nigh. I wonder: why?
Treated cruelly. Evil, truly.
Tears inside. The music’s died.
