To love one person, who will always be
Changing into another day by day
Yet still be one: it is a mystery
That Father Time works on us in this way.
Yet you, my love, I love you all the more
As years add to the person that you are.
This is a part of what marriage is for
I think. For God is still our shining star
That makes us twain a holy trinity
To mirror Him, th’eternal three-in-one
To bind us both together more closely
In marriage to the Father, Spirit, Son.
My love – I love you more than yesteryear.
God bless you more as yet we tarry here.
